Description
The Booby Island to D'Arcole Islands, Bonaparte Archipelago bathymetry survey was acquired for the Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO) onboard the MV Offshore Solution and MV Special Order between 15 September 2022 and 26 November 2022. Guardian Geomatics conducted the survey as part of the Hydroscheme Industry Partnership Program, using Kongsberg EM2040P and EM2040-07 multibeam echosounders. The processed dataset is a 30-meter resolution, 32-bit floating point GeoTIFF grid of the survey area.
Use Cases
Modeling seabed terrain based on high-resolution bathymetry data.
Analyzing underwater geological features based on the 30-meter resolution grid.
Supporting marine spatial planning based on the survey's defined area in the Bonaparte Archipelago.
Strengths
Data was acquired using Kongsberg EM2040P and EM2040-07 multibeam echosounders.
The final product is a 30-meter resolution, 32-bit floating point GeoTIFF grid.
Survey was conducted over a defined period from 15 September 2022 to 26 November 2022.
