simmr is a software package designed as a long-term replacement for the widely-used SIAR package for fitting Stable Isotope Mixing Models (SIMMs). The package, authored by Emma Govan, uses methods detailed in peer-reviewed papers from 2010 and 2013 to infer dietary proportions from stable isotope values in tissue samples. Its main functions are simmr_load() and simmr_mcmc(), and it includes two vignettes for user guidance.
This is a software package (R package) for statistical analysis, not a dataset in the traditional sense. Users must have the appropriate technical environment to run it.
