Description
Risk Prevention Plans (PPRs) are the key state instrument for monitoring development in areas exposed to major natural risks, established by the French Act of 2 February 1995. This dataset maps existing PPRNs for the Department of Tarn-et-Garonne, containing regulatory zoning plans, regulations, and associated graphic documents. The data is produced by the Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières and was last updated on 22 July 2021.
Use Cases
Mapping zones with building prohibitions or requirements based on regulatory zoning plans.
Analyzing land-use restrictions for vulnerability reduction work mentioned in the description.
Linking administrative procedures for risk plan development using the GASPAR code identifier.
Strengths
Dataset is explicitly linked to a national legal framework (French Act of 2 February 1995).
Each plan is uniquely identified by a standardized GASPAR code format for cross-referencing.
Includes multiple document types such as a presentation note, regulatory zoning plan, and regulation.
