Description
The Titanoble Site PPRT was approved on June 29, 2012. This dataset from the Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières (BRGM) defines areas exposed to one or more hazards for risk analysis, based on a hazard map that synthesizes calculated, modeled, or observed data. The geographic layer is not disseminated for security reasons, and the dataset was last updated on March 29, 2019.
Use Cases
Modeling industrial risk exposure based on hazard intensity and probability levels.
Planning land use and safety perimeters around hazardous sites based on hazard zoning.
Validating hazard assessment methodologies that aggregate multiple data sources.
Strengths
Approved by regulatory process as of June 29, 2012, providing a formal baseline.
Hazard zones are defined by a synthesis of multiple calculated, modeled, or observed data sources.
Includes areas protected by structures, accounting for potential failure scenarios.
Limitations
Description metadata is limited; actual data quality requires manual inspection after download.
Last updated 2019-03-29 00:00:00; freshness should be verified.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
