SIRIUS - Synthesized Inventory of CRitical Infrastructure and HUman-Impacted Areas in Perm

Alaska is the geographic scope for this integrated geospatial inventory of critical infrastructure and human-impacted areas in permafrost regions. Soraya Kaiser from the Alfred-Wegener-Institut Helmholtz-Zentrum für Polar- und Meeresforschung created the dataset by unifying data from Sentinel-1/2, OpenStreetMap, watershed databases, permafrost maps, and state contaminated site reports. The dataset is deployed as a GeoPackage containing multiple layers for spatial querying and analysis.
