Description
GLIDE numbers are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters, allowing information to be interoperable across multiple disaster information sources. The Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) proposed this globally common Unique ID code for disasters. The dataset is actively used by institutions including UN-OCHA, UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, the European Commission, and the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED).
