Description
148 patient records from a multicenter, prospective, phase II clinical trial investigating a treatment regimen for thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The trial, registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR2500108825), compares outcomes for patients with locally advanced, oligometastatic, and polymetastatic disease. All patients received sintilimab plus platinum-based chemotherapy, with cohorts A and B receiving additional curative-intent local therapy.
Use Cases
Compare overall survival outcomes based on metastatic burden (oligometastatic vs. polymetastatic) mentioned in the trial design
Analyze progression-free survival and disease-free survival as secondary endpoints described in the protocol
Evaluate the efficacy of combining immunotherapy (sintilimab) with chemotherapy and local therapy for specific patient cohorts
Study patient stratification and outcomes based on protocol-defined assignment to cohorts A, B, and C
Strengths
Data originates from a prospective, multicenter phase II clinical trial with a defined protocol
Includes 148 enrolled patients with specific allocation across three cohorts (37, 37, 74)
Primary and secondary endpoints (overall survival, progression-free survival) are clearly defined
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment
Data may reflect geographic bias inherent to the participating trial centers
