Petroleum Systems Model Scenarios for the Vulcan Sub-basin, Offshore Western Australia

Several scenarios of a 3D petroleum systems model for the Vulcan Sub-basin were simulated using PetroMod 3D V.10 software. The modeling results confirm the timing of hydrocarbon generation and present-day maturity from a previous study, while incorporating new PhaseKinetic models for source rocks. The dataset, from the Australian Ocean Data Network, includes predictions on source rock transformation, bulk generation rates, and fluid compositions.
