Southeast Tasmania Temperate Reef Survey with Multibeam and Video Data, 2008-2009

Seven survey sites in southeast Tasmania were mapped using multibeam sonar and characterized with towed video and still photography during a 2008-2009 research voyage. The dataset includes preliminary results and initial interpretations of benthic communities from the CERF Marine Biodiversity Hub's Surrogates Program. High-resolution photographs were also collected by an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to document reefs and associated biota.
