Numerical simulation data models bottom-heated convection in a rotating spherical shell to study planetary core dynamics. The dataset includes simulation states, time-series outputs, and post-processed diagnostic quantities like kinetic energy of convection. Simulations were performed using the Leeds Spherical Dynamo code on multiple high-performance computing systems.
Primary simulation state files are stored in NETCDF format; diagnostic data is provided in text format. Users require tools to handle NETCDF and time-series analysis.
