Sponge and Coral Aggregations in Eastern Canadian Waters from Research Vessel Surveys

Polygons identifying concentrations of sea pens, gorgonian corals, and sponges on the east coast of Canada were derived from research vessel by-catch data. The analysis, performed for five biogeographic zones, used kernel density and catch weight thresholds to define aggregations.
