SPREAD-MYCO: Pediatric Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Outbreak in the Netherlands, 2023-2024

35 hospitals in the Netherlands, including all 7 pediatric intensive care units, contributed data on children aged 0-17 years during the 2023-2024 Mycoplasma pneumoniae epidemic. Weekly numbers of M. pneumoniae tests and clinical characteristics were collected prospectively, with retrospective data from the 2019/2020 epidemic for comparison.
