BRIGHT Survey: Sri Lanka Household Socioeconomic Data 2025

6,850 households across all provinces and districts of Sri Lanka were surveyed between November 2024 and March 2025. The BRIGHT Integrated Household Survey is the first nationally representative, multi-thematic survey of its kind in Sri Lanka, implemented by IFPRI. It was designed to generate evidence on the socioeconomic consequences of the 2022–2023 economic crisis.

Limitations

• Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
• Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
• Data is presented as a WEB APP, which may limit direct programmatic access for analysis.
