The Marine Science voyage (VMS) collected underwater still images from 93 sites across the George V shelf in East Antarctica between 4 January and 6 February 2011. The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) marine science support team operated a camera attached to CTD or beam trawl frames, positioned 4-5 meters from the seafloor at depths from 170 m to 2300 m. All images are stamped with UTC time and stations are named according to a specific deployment and instrument naming convention.
