Palynological investigation of dredged samples from the Bight and Duntroon Basins correlates palynofloras with the Maastrichtian to earliest Paleocene Forcipites longus and Manumiella druggii zones. The data, sourced from Geoscience Australia, indicates depositional environments ranged from paralic to marine and suggests provenance from streams flowing from the east and north. Recycled Permian to Cenomanian palynomorphs are common in the Potoroo and Wigunda Formations.
Primary data files are in PDF and HTML formats, which may require extraction or manual digitization of tabular data.
