Pavement ratings for New York City streets are assessed on a scale from 1 to 10 and categorized as Good, Fair, or Poor. The data is collected by city agency inspectors across the five boroughs and was last updated in April 2026.
The Road_Type column and the rule that a rating of 7 is 'Good' on local streets are critical for correct interpretation of the Fair/Good categories. The future 'last updated' date requires verification.
