A reconnaissance marine reflection seismic survey was conducted in 1961 by Seismograph Service Limited for West Australian Petroleum Pty Limited. The survey covered 753 miles of traverse in the Exmouth Gulf and along the west coast of Western Australia. Its purpose was to obtain information on regional geology and map the extension of known structures in the Carnarvon Basin.
Data is available in HTML and PDF formats; the original magnetic tape data may require specialized tools for modern analysis.
