Wandagee No. 1 Well was drilled to a total depth of 3521 feet in Western Australia's Carnarvon Basin between April and June 1962. The report details a full program of logging, testing, and coring, documenting a geological sequence from Quaternary sands down to the Silurian-Ordovician Tumblagooda Sandstone. Traces of gas were observed in a marine siltstone unit, but the well was ultimately completed as a water source for Wandagee Station.
