This dataset contains a 3D bioprinted human liver model designed to study acute and chronic drug-induced hepatotoxicity and fibrosis. It includes encapsulated human hepatocytes and hepatic stellate cells within a hydrogel matrix, maintained over 30 days with physiological functions like albumin secretion and CYP450 activity. The model simulates low-dose long-term and high-dose short-term damage, was used to investigate fibrosis progression and immune response with incorporated monocytes. Data supports drug safety screening and chronic liver disease modeling.
Data requires expertise in 3D culture systems and liver pathophysiology for interpretation. File format (.docx) may need conversion for analysis.
