A newly discovered Aerococcus urinae strain mediates intergeneric transfer of the pCF10 plasmid, challenging the species-specific constraint of pheromone-regulated horizontal gene transfer. The dataset includes a transfer frequency of (3.41 ± 0.26) × 10⁻³ in Ae1, increasing to (7.97 ± 1.77) × 10⁻³ with exogenous cCF10 signal peptide. Authored by Man Zhang and uploaded to figshare in May 2026, this 3.5 MB document provides insights into the dissemination pathways of intestinal antibiotic resistance genes.
