Description
Supplementary file 1_A novel diagnostic model for HIV–HTN comorbidity contains transcriptomic analysis and validation data from a study by Aiping Yu, last updated April 9, 2026. The study identified 109 overlapping genes and validated six hub genes (FOS, PTGS2, TRMT2A, E2F1, FASN, STAB1) using qRT-PCR on peripheral blood samples from healthy individuals, HIV patients, and HIV-HTN patients.
Use Cases
Validate diagnostic biomarkers for HIV-HTN comorbidity based on the six identified hub genes.
Analyze immune cell infiltration patterns based on CIBERSORT deconvolution results mentioned in the description.
Construct regulatory networks (ceRNA, miRNA, lncRNA) based on the putative network analysis.
Perform functional enrichment analysis based on the identified cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, IL-17, and NF-κB pathways.
Strengths
Identifies 109 overlapping genes and six validated hub genes (FOS, PTGS2, TRMT2A, E2F1, FASN, STAB1).
Includes qRT-PCR validation data from three patient cohorts (healthy, HIV, HIV-HTN).
Data is openly available under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
The 2.5 MB size suggests a small dataset, potentially limiting the scope of analysis.

Collection Method
Transcriptomic datasets from HIV (GSE140713) and HTN (GSE236442) cohorts were analyzed; validation performed via qRT-PCR on peripheral blood samples.
