13,736 paired observations of State Behavioral Scale (SBS) and Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) scores were collected from 1,025 mechanically ventilated children in a tertiary PICU between May 2024 and October 2025. Author Dan Li published this retrospective study on figshare under a CC-BY-4.0 license to evaluate the scales' clinical agreement. A nurse survey found 64.7% considered RASS more convenient and faster to use.
The primary data file is a DOCX document (249.5 KB), which is a very small size for a dataset; users should verify it contains the raw paired scores and not just a manuscript.
