Amelia Hickman's research dataset explores the relationship between home literacy practices and vocabulary development in children with Down syndrome. The data includes measures of HLE richness and child engagement during shared book reading, collected via questionnaires from parents of children aged 2 years 11 months to 6 years 10 months. Language skills were assessed at two time points approximately 9 months apart using a vocabulary checklist and a standardized expressive vocabulary measure.
