Bayesian latent class modeling was used to estimate the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of qPCR and nanopore metagenomic sequencing for five viruses associated with bovine respiratory disease. The dataset contains results from 760 nasal swabs collected from 19 western Canadian feedlots, comparing the two diagnostic methods. Emmanuel Donbraye published the data under a CC-BY-4.0 license, with the file last updated in March 2026.
The dataset is very small (51.1 KB), indicating limited scope, likely containing summary statistics rather than raw sample-level data.
