A multicenter retrospective cohort study in Hunan Province, China, analyzed three treatments for Crohn's disease complicated by acute severe lower gastrointestinal bleeding. The study, authored by Shuoyi Yao and last updated in March 2026, compares infliximab, surgical, and traditional hemostatic therapies on clinical and economic outcomes. Results indicate infliximab therapy was associated with lower rebleeding risk and hospital costs compared to surgery.
