57 children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and 57 of their healthy biological siblings were compared for fecal levels of α1-antitrypsin, immunoglobulin A, and calprotectin. The dataset, authored by Joško Osredkar and last updated in April 2026, contains results from a sibling-controlled study designed to isolate ASD-specific biology from shared environmental factors. No statistically significant differences in inflammatory markers were found between the groups.
The primary data file is a DOCX document (15.2 KB), which is a very small size and likely contains summarized results rather than raw experimental data.
