Intracranial Aneurysm Branch Vessel and Recurrence Study

A single-center retrospective cohort study analyzed 330 patients with 330 intracranial aneurysms to assess the impact of branch vessel involvement on treatment outcomes. The study matched 31 branch-involving aneurysms to 31 non-branch-involving aneurysms, finding significantly worse final occlusion grades and higher recurrence and retreatment rates for aneurysms with branch vessels.
