A theoretical study proposes a geometric framework for redefining electroencephalographic (EEG) frequency bands based on logarithmic scaling. The framework uses the mean adult alpha rhythm as a reference and a constant scaling ratio of 1.7275 to derive band centers and boundaries. The model was authored by Sultan Tarlacı and published on figshare in March 2026.
