A pot experiment investigated how warming modifies maize growth and resource-use efficiency when combined with drought or salinity. The study measured plant growth, water- and nitrogen-use efficiency, 15N fertilizer recovery, and Δ13C discrimination under three air temperature regimes and three water regimes. Findings show warming amplified the detrimental impacts of both drought and salinity on plant performance, sometimes resulting in non-additive responses.
