A nationwide cohort of 15,423 critically ill COVID-19 patients admitted to intensive care units in mainland France. The data, managed by Santé publique France, was used to investigate factors associated with mortality, severe ARDS, ICU-free days, and need for invasive ventilatory support across the first three pandemic periods.
