Acupoint Temperature Biomarkers for Adolescent Major Depressive Disorder

108 participants (65 adolescents with MDD and 43 healthy controls) were enrolled in a prospective, multi-center observational study. Infrared thermography was used to measure thermal radiation at 27 acupoints, identifying temperature alterations at Taiyang (EX-HN5), Quchi (LI11), Yanggu (SI5), and Waiqiu (GB36). The study developed linear and logistic regression diagnostic models, validated internally with a bootstrap method.
