Mpox Coinfections and Clinical Manifestation in Africa: Systematic Review

23 studies from Africa were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis. The pooled prevalence of VZV–mpox coinfection was 8.73% and HIV–mpox coinfection prevalence was 4.29%, with significant heterogeneity observed. The analysis, conducted by Fabrice Zobel Lekeumo Cheuyem and registered in PROSPERO, searched literature through February 2025.
