Description
Supplementary radionuclide data supporting a study on anthropogenic and climatic impacts in Faroese fjords. The data includes measurements of 137Cs, 210Pb, 214Pb, and 214Bi. It was contributed by Prof. Witold Szczuciński from the Institute of Geology, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland.
Use Cases
Reconstructing historical pollution timelines based on radionuclide measurements.
Analyzing sedimentation rates in fjord environments based on 210Pb data.
Correlating anthropogenic activity with environmental markers based on the multi-proxy approach.
Strengths
Data includes specific radionuclide measurements (137Cs, 210Pb, 214Pb, 214Bi).
Data is associated with a peer-reviewed research article.
Available under a permissive CC-BY-4.0 license.
Limitations
Row count and column-level documentation are unknown.
The dataset is small at 92.0 KB, indicating limited scope.
Description metadata is limited; actual data quality requires manual inspection after download.
