388 filters from 54 children requiring continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) were analyzed in a retrospective study from a pediatric ICU in Nancy, France. The median filter lifespan was 13.3 hours for patients with hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), compared to 17.6 hours for patients with other etiologies. The dataset supports analysis of filter longevity by disease group and anticoagulation type, with no significant difference found between regional citrate and heparin in HUS patients.
