Only 1% of 2,269 acute intracerebral hemorrhage patients had isolated intraventricular hemorrhage, a rare phenotype. This dataset compares the clinical profiles of these 23 patients against 2,246 patients with intraparenchymal hemorrhage, focusing on risk factors and outcomes. It reveals isolated IVH was more frequently associated with prior anticoagulant use and diabetes mellitus, and linked to milder neurological deficits.
