Qualitative Interview Data on Youth Mental Health Suffering in Belgium

Brussels-based qualitative research includes interview data from 15 transitional-age youth (ages 17-25) receiving psychiatric care. The study explores phenomenological themes of suffering, mental pain, and social adversity through semi-structured interviews. Analysis identified five core themes describing the lived experience of distress.
