NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown collected surface underway measurements of carbon dioxide partial pressure, water temperature, and salinity across the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico from March 2007 to January 2008. Rik Wanninkhof of NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory led the collection using carbon dioxide gas analyzers and thermosalinographs. These data are part of the Ocean Carbon and Acidification Data System (OCADS).
