Description
Ziyao Yin from the Chinese Academy of Sciences produced a suspended particulate matter (SPM) concentration product for Lake Taihu spanning 1984 to 2020. The dataset was created using Landsat-5 TM and Landsat-8 OLI satellite data, with Landsat-7 ETM+ excluded due to striping noise. SPM estimation models were calibrated and validated using in situ SPM, remote sensing reflectance data, and synchronous satellite data, achieving an average unbiased relative error below 35%.
