200 patients with isolated coronary artery ectasia (CE) were compared to 200 with obstructive coronary artery disease and 200 with normal angiograms in a retrospective study. The research, authored by Ferhat Dindaş, found the systemic immune inflammation index (SII) to be an independent predictor of isolated CE. An SII value greater than 517.35 had 79% sensitivity and 76% specificity for predicting CE, with an area under the curve of 0.832.
