An integrated metabolomic and transcriptomic study investigated phenolamide biosynthesis in Ricinus communis L. across root, stem, and leaf tissues at three time points. The analysis identified N-feruloyl putrescine as the predominant phenolamide, with peak accumulation in roots at 06:00, and characterized two novel BAHD hydroxycinnamoyl transferases, RcHCT1 and RcHCT2. Author Hua Li published the dataset under a CC-BY-4.0 license on figshare in 2026.
