Description
32 ICU staff members from a private general hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, completed a 46-question survey on Candida auris. It covers demographic, knowledge, attitude, and practice domains using Likert-type and ranking scales.
Use Cases
Assessing knowledge gaps among ICU staff based on survey scores and thematic interview analysis.
Modeling associations between demographic factors and knowledge levels based on age and work experience variables.
Analyzing attitudes toward institutional preparedness and perceived outbreak risks mentioned in the qualitative insights.
Strengths
Includes both quantitative (46-question survey) and qualitative (semi-structured interviews) data from a mixed-methods study.
Survey data covers four distinct domains: demographic, knowledge, attitudes, and practices.
Results are specific, noting that only 11 of 32 participants (34.38%) scored above 50% on knowledge.
Limitations
Row count for the underlying survey data is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
