Complete genomes of avian rotavirus A, avian orthoreovirus, and chicken megrivirus genotype C strains were co-detected via nontargeted metagenomic sequencing. The data originates from a pooled cloacal sample of 150 commercial broiler chickens from three farms in Assam, Northeast India, collected in 2026. This work by Henry M. Kariithi expands the genomic baseline for poultry enteric viruses in South Asia.
