Risk Factors for Preoperative Anxiety in Surgical Patients, 2021-2024

425 adult elective surgery patients from a tertiary hospital in Southwest China were assessed for preoperative anxiety, with 39.5% meeting the criteria. The dataset, authored by Cheng Wu, was used to develop a risk prediction model with an area under the ROC curve of 0.848. It includes demographic, clinical, psychological, and behavioral variables extracted from electronic medical records between January 2021 and October 2024.
