The Chiba Study of Mother and Child Health (C-MACH) collected 570 human milk samples from 270 Japanese mothers at colostrum, 1 month, and 4 months postpartum. Naoko Higuchi quantified 15 major human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) and classified mothers into four Secretor/Lewis phenotype groups. The dataset, last updated in 2026, captures longitudinal HMO concentration changes and exploratory associations with maternal and infant characteristics.
Dataset size is 131.2 KB, indicating a limited scope suitable for focused analysis rather than large-scale machine learning.
