Taxonomic Descriptions of Cyanobacteria from Hawaiian Steam Vents via Genome Analysis

A dataset containing formal taxonomic descriptions for cyanobacteria discovered in extreme habitats. It includes eight novel species and one novel genus identified from 38 high-quality metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) reconstructed from 46 Hawaiian steam vent samples.
