189 sorghum recombinant inbred lines were analyzed using LC-MS untargeted metabolomics to investigate antimicrobial activity against Clostridium perfringens. The study identified 13 metabolites most relevant for separating high and low antimicrobial activity lines and mapped five metabolites to a major-effect QTL on chromosome 1. This dataset, authored by María Antonella Conti and last updated in 2026, provides insight into the metabolic basis of antimicrobial activity in sorghum for poultry feed development.
