Description
98 ARM repeat protein genes were identified across six plant species, including wheat and its relatives. The dataset includes gene structures, motifs, protein properties, phylogeny, and stress response analysis via RNA-seq and qRT-PCR. Author Jingxu Li published this genomic analysis on figshare under a CC-BY-4.0 license, last updated April 24, 2026.
Use Cases
Study gene family expansion and evolutionary selection based on genomic analysis of polyploidy-driven segmental duplications.
Analyze stress responsiveness of genes based on cis-acting element analysis and RNA-seq data.
Identify candidate genes for crop breeding based on specific expression patterns under biotic and abiotic stresses.
Compare gene structures and conserved motifs across wheat, Arabidopsis, and rice based on phylogenetic classification.
Strengths
Includes 98 identified ARM genes across six plant species, with specific counts for each species.
