Description
Seven prognostic genes (VDAC1, TXNRD1, GDF15, TRIB3, LPL, KCNQ1, PKP2) associated with endoplasmic reticulum stress and butyrate metabolism in lung adenocarcinoma were identified through integrated analysis. The dataset, authored by Jiaxin Li and last updated on 2026-03-25, contains results from single-cell transcriptome analysis, Mendelian randomization, and validation in non-small cell lung cancer cell lines. It includes a constructed risk model and nomogram for predicting 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival outcomes.
Use Cases
Validate prognostic gene signatures for lung adenocarcinoma based on the seven identified genes (VDAC1, TXNRD1, GDF15, TRIB3, LPL, KCNQ1, PKP2).
Build predictive models for patient survival based on the described risk model and nomogram.
Investigate immune microenvironment interactions based on the 13 differentially abundant immune cell types identified.
Analyze pathway enrichment in high-risk vs. low-risk patient groups based on olfactory transduction and ribosome/complement-coagulation cascades.
Strengths
Identifies seven specific prognostic genes validated by RT-qPCR in different NSCLC cell lines.
Risk model and nomogram were constructed and evaluated for 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival prediction.
Analysis includes immune profiling of 13 differentially abundant immune cell types.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Data may reflect bias inherent to the specific public datasets analyzed.
