A multi-omics study by Pramod Kumar Sahu, last updated in May 2026, investigates the biocontrol potential of the endophytic bacterium Stenotrophomonas maltophilia strain 3A against the tomato pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum. The research combines FTIR and LC-MS/MS-based metabolomic analysis with whole genome sequencing and antiSMASH analysis to identify bioactive secondary metabolites and biosynthetic gene clusters. Results indicate the strain's antagonistic activity and successful colonization in tomato root and stem tissues.
