ST672 Clone: Genomic and Phenotypic Data from Invasive Paediatric Infections in Mexico

Eight Staphylococcus aureus ST672 isolates from paediatric patients at Mexico's National Institute of Paediatrics were characterized for antimicrobial susceptibility and virulence. All isolates were methicillin-susceptible and showed a reversible small colony variant phenotype, with six carrying the pvl gene.
